Deciding to seek help for addiction is a personal choice, and making that first phone call can feel intimidating. You may have questions about treatment, concerns about the cost, or uncertainty about whether you’re ready. You might also be researching options for someone you love and wondering how to help them get started.
At Revelations Recovery Center, we believe the admissions process should be welcoming, straightforward, and free from unnecessary pressure. Our goal is to help you understand your options and make an informed decision about your care with transparency.
We provide three levels of outpatient addiction treatment at our West Palm Beach location in Florida: partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and standard outpatient (OP). Whether you’ve been through treatment before or are considering it for the first time, our team can help you explore the next steps.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. The first step toward addiction treatment is simply starting a conversation.
You can call Revelations Recovery Center at (561) 623-3304 or submit a request through our online contact page to begin learning about your options.
During this initial conversation, you can discuss your concerns, ask questions, and learn more about the outpatient programs we offer.
You may want to talk about:
You don’t need to know which program is right for you. The purpose of this conversation is to help you understand what treatment may involve and what information is needed to determine an appropriate level of care.
Reaching out doesn’t mean you’re committing to enrollment.
Choosing the right addiction treatment program requires more than knowing which substance someone uses. Your medical stability, substance use history, living circumstances, and recovery needs all help determine the appropriate level of support.
A qualified clinical assessment provides the information needed to make that decision.
During an assessment, a clinician may ask about your substance use patterns, current symptoms, withdrawal history, previous treatment experiences, and personal recovery goals.
The evaluation also considers whether you can safely participate in outpatient treatment or need medical care before starting.
At Revelations Recovery Center, the assessment process helps determine which of our three outpatient programs may be appropriate:
A clinical assessment should guide treatment recommendations rather than assuming that every person needs the same program.
Once your treatment needs have been assessed, the next step is understanding which services may be appropriate and why.
Revelations Recovery Center offers three levels of outpatient addiction treatment. Each provides a different balance of clinical support, structure, and flexibility.
Our partial hospitalization program provides the most intensive level of outpatient addiction treatment.
PHP generally involves several hours of structured treatment per day, five days per week. You receive frequent clinical support while returning home or to an appropriate sober living environment outside treatment hours.
This program may be suitable if you’ve recently completed medical detox or residential treatment, have significant recovery needs, or require more structure than IOP can provide.
Our intensive outpatient program provides structured addiction treatment with fewer weekly treatment hours than PHP.
IOP typically involves sessions several days per week. It may be appropriate if you’re ready to transition from PHP or need consistent clinical support while managing work, family, and other responsibilities.
Some people begin treatment directly in IOP when their clinical needs don’t require PHP-level intensity.
Our outpatient program provides the greatest flexibility of the three levels of care.
OP may be appropriate if you’ve met many of your recovery goals and need ongoing support without the intensive structure of PHP or IOP.
These programs form a continuum of care. You may transition from PHP to IOP and eventually OP as your needs change. If additional challenges arise, moving to a more intensive program may also be appropriate.
The goal is to match your treatment to your needs, not fit everyone into the same program.
Questions about insurance and treatment costs are common when considering addiction care. Understanding your financial responsibilities can help you make a more informed decision.
Many health insurance plans provide coverage for medically necessary substance use disorder treatment, including PHP, IOP, and standard outpatient care.
However, coverage depends on several factors, including:
Insurance verification can help clarify which benefits may apply and what expenses you could be responsible for.
If you don’t have insurance or your benefits don’t cover the full cost of treatment, ask the admissions team about available payment options.
Before enrolling, you should have an opportunity to discuss anticipated costs and understand your financial responsibilities.
For your privacy, avoid sending sensitive medical or insurance information through unsecured email. Contact us at (561) 623-3304 to learn how to provide the information needed for verification.
Beginning outpatient addiction treatment can feel unfamiliar, especially if you’ve never participated in a structured program.
Once a program has been recommended and admission arrangements are complete, you can begin preparing for your first day. Your treatment team can explain where to go, when to arrive, what documentation you may need, and what to expect from the program.
Your first day may include:
You may also want to plan transportation, arrange your personal responsibilities, and make sure you understand your anticipated treatment schedule.
At Revelations Recovery Center, our goal is to provide a respectful, supportive environment where you can begin treatment with a clearer understanding of what lies ahead.
The information needed for admission depends on your circumstances and the program recommended for you.
In general, preparing for outpatient addiction treatment may involve providing:
You may also need to complete a medical evaluation or withdrawal management before beginning outpatient care.
If you’re unsure what information to provide, our admissions team can explain the next steps and help you prepare.
Outpatient addiction treatment can be appropriate for many people, but it isn’t the right starting point for every situation.
If you’re experiencing significant withdrawal symptoms, serious medical complications, or circumstances requiring round-the-clock supervision, you may need a higher level of care.
For example, withdrawal from alcohol or benzodiazepines can cause dangerous medical complications. A qualified medical professional should assess the need for supervised withdrawal management.
Revelations Recovery Center does not provide medical detox or residential treatment.
If these services are necessary, our team can help you explore outside treatment options. Once you’re medically stable and outpatient care is appropriate, you may be able to transition into our PHP, IOP, or OP.
If you or someone you love is experiencing an overdose, loss of consciousness, or another medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
For emotional distress or a mental health crisis, call or text 988. You can also explore additional crisis resources for information about seeking urgent assistance.
The length of the admissions process depends on your individual circumstances, clinical assessment, insurance considerations, and whether additional medical care is needed. Contact Revelations Recovery Center to discuss what steps may be required and how to begin.
You don’t need to choose a program before reaching out. A qualified clinical assessment helps determine whether PHP, IOP, or OP provides an appropriate level of care based on your needs. Your treatment plan can also change as you make progress.
You may need a photo ID, insurance information, a list of current medications, and any documents requested during admissions. Your treatment team can explain what to bring and provide additional instructions before your first day.
If your insurance doesn’t cover the full cost of treatment, ask the admissions team about payment options and potential out-of-pocket expenses. Understanding your benefits and financial responsibilities before enrolling can help you make an informed decision.
You don’t need to wait until every question is answered or every concern is resolved before reaching out for help. Beginning the admissions process can be as simple as having a conversation about your circumstances and learning what options are available.
At Revelations Recovery Center, we offer compassionate, evidence-informed outpatient addiction treatment designed around your individual needs. Whether you’re considering PHP, IOP, or standard outpatient care, our team can help you understand the next steps.
